Do you undertake business transactions using a mobile device such as a mobile phone or a tablet?
Do you know how to protect yourself or your business from cyber security threats using such a device?
To secure themselves against cybercrime there are basic precautions that individuals and small businesses can take to help protect themselves against loss of time, money, private information, and damage to reputation. However, they need to know the most appropriate measures for their circumstances.
Help is out there
Recognising that the cyber security of a community is reliant upon every individual within that community having the knowledge of how to best protect themselves online, the globally renowned Edith Cowan University Security Research Institute (ECUSRI), and the Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo have been collaborating to develop a new cyber security initiative "Cyber Check.Me".
The Cyber Check.me iniative will be delivered across a range of "Pop Up" locations across the Cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo. This will include the sixty27 coworking space at West Coast Institute.
When and Where?
The dates and times of the Cyber Check.Me Pop Up locations will be posted on the events page when the schedule is finalised.
For further information or to be kept updated on Cyber Check.Me locations, dates and times, please contact the Cyber Check.Me team.
